Nebelung cats are lively, playful, affectionate, good-natured, and intelligent. Nebelungs prefer their own families and often keep a distance from strangers. They tend to bond with a select few humans and stay loving and devoted throughout their lives. It is, however, a cat that gladly accepts company of its people. Nebelungs are very good communicators and will remind their owners of problems. This happens often since Nebelungs can be very picky about things such as litter cleanliness and food type. Many owners of the Nebelung cats say that they can act more like dogs at times, being extremely loyal to their owner and family. It enjoys sitting in a lap and being petted and will follow its favorite person devotedly from room to room. This is a cat that likes routine and may require a little time to adjust to changes in the household.

On Saturdays, we take the Lodge pets to the Jones Valley Petsmart from 12 to 4. Some pets are in foster homes, so please email [email removed] if you want to know about a particular pet. **Adoption fees are a tax-deductible donation which helps pay part of their vet bills. Cats over 6 months old: suggested donation is $50. Older Kittens between 3 and 6 months old: suggested donation is $100. Young Kittens under 3 months old: suggested donation is $125. There is a $25 fee for out of town adoptions.
ALL PETS FULLY VETTED BEFORE ADOPTION: including exam, MICROCHIP, spay or neuter, FIV/FELV test, fecal, deworm, FVRCP, Rabies (if old enough), as well as any other medications or surgeries the pet needs. Return Policy: If you wish to return the cat(s) after adoption, you MUST return them to A New Leash on Life, Inc. They cannot be given to someone else or turned in to another agency. The returned cat will be placed back into our foster program when the next available foster home has an opening.
